just curious... wouldn't moving to Manny's left? make him an easier target for Manny's straight left? even looping left (hatton)...
My guess was move to Manny's right.. keep your foot on the outside, clinch when Manny manages to get on the inside and use every last inch of that ring.. which I'm going to assume will be a huge ring..
His arms are almost a half a foot longer than Mannys. He won't have to get as close as Hatton did. Move into the left to take away the right jab and right hook and use longer reach to time Manny jumping in with the left is what the guy was saying.

That would make Pacquiao one dimensional.
So if his arm is half a foot longer? why shorten the distance by moving towards his t rex arm?
I give him credit for that... but you have to see him as another Kobe... I think his work ethic is just above... 82 games to 72 mins..
Too bad father times catches up with you eventually!!
I'm not the biggest Mayweather fan as well, but every training video i've seen he's training like a lunatic. Even on media day his focus and intensity is still there, I see other fighters on media day and they just fool around but not Mayweather, he's all business.

most posters here would call me a Floyd haters.. which could very well be the truth.. but it's strictly my opinion.. not my fault I dislike the dude cause of his choice of opposition and fighting style (although effective) but vs limited oppositions.. even I'd look like a stud if I fought guys I know I can beat..
I think Floyd should have started two weeks ago. I know for both guys today was the official start of training camp but Manny has been training for the last three weeks in the Philippines. However, Floyd did look pretty sharp on the speed bag so he was probably doing light training already.
I think Floyd has been working for some time as well. At his age I'd be careful about over training if I was Floyd.
Ellerbe is still in the mix?? If Ellerbe is CEO of Mayweather Promotions, then why did Al Haymon sign the contract? If Ellerbe is as important as he thinks, shouldn't he & Floyd have signed the contract for Floyd-Pac?
It's not about Floyd, you do not counter a right jab with a pull counter because you'd be squaring up to your opponent straight left/left cross and give him a huge strategical/positional advantage.
It's mechanics, such a move is likely to get you sandwiched between the southpaw’s front foot and the ropes.
mayweather has always said he if he ever meets with pacquiao all he have to do is box him in circles, lol

Because it turns Pacquiao into a one punch at a time fighter. Instead of both fighters having the option to throw jabs, straights and hooks it becomes a battle of right hand vs left hand it becomes who can time who better and it also limits Pacquiao's options to throw combos at Mayweather.
Stylistically This favors Mayweather who doesn't mind waiting on the outside or throwing 1 punch at a time. Timing and reach will also become more of a factor if Floyd decided to do that.

Why is it when everytime Mayweather fights and beats someone that people say he's scared of they recycle the same lines as beforr? I don't get it
