WBC/WBA welterweight and junior middleweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. posted several photos on his social network accounts, showing his massive count of followers that his training camp has officially begun for the showdown with WBO champion Manny Pacquiao. The pay-per-view mega-fight is scheduled for May 2nd from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Floyd will train out of the Mayweather Boxing Club with father/trainer Floyd Mayweather Sr., uncle/trainer Roger Mayweather and strength/conditioning coach Alex Ariza.

I think Floyd should have started two weeks ago. I know for both guys today was the official start of training camp but Manny has been training for the last three weeks in the Philippines. However, Floyd did look pretty sharp on the speed bag so he was probably doing light training already.
