For a guy that loves money so much to barely want to promote this fight...only two press conferences...No 24/7 or All access.....I understand the fight will sell itself...but damn this shlt is just weird
When Canelo fought Floyd we all knew the fight would sell, and they did some great press conferences
IDK wats up with Floyd
They should be pulling out all the stops.

Bad enough they made us wait this long for this fight but now instead of involving the fans and turning the whole thing into an inclusive event/spectacle... everything is closed off to the public and they jack all the prices up with nothing in return except a fight between a 36 and 38 year old that could turn out to be a dud?
And a lot of people had this out to be the fight to 'save' Boxing.

It would be the equivalent of giving me a ticket to the Superbowl or World Cup match. I mean, sure I'd go...but it's not like I'm going to fully understand how big and/or important the event is because I really don't follow these sports...AT ALL.
I'm STILL scratching my head as to why there's hardly any promotion being built for this fight. Are they trying to save some money by not doing this? The people are excited for this fight, they should be shoving it down everybody's throats and promoting the heck out of it. Ever since it was announced, I honestly have hardly heard people at work talking about it. They talked about it a little when it was announced, but nothing since then really. Hopefully, hype goes into full effect when the press conference takes place, but I think it's a shame there's no ALL ACCESS or 24/7's. Maybe neither network wants to put up any of their own money to make these shows?

wait? there won't be any all access or 24/7? that sux, a fight this special, of this magnitude, and we can't even basque in any prefight hype...what a crying shame.

Remember Floyd was in the room with Manny and all Floyd could do was talk to Konc but not directly at Manny who was sitting beside him.

I personally find it pretty disgusting that after all these years we dont get the pre fight rituals of a big fight. But hey, we get the fight we always wanted still at least.
I mean, none at all? Even if it was JUST one or two episodes of 24/7, or JUST a face off it would send the fans fans crazy over the fight. I cant understand why they would make such a point out of avoiding the usual pre fight ritual of these big nights. This is the pinnacle and it gets no hype? Weird.
