Well maybe "shot" isn't the right word but there's no way in the world that a 38 year olds legs are going to be what they were. He's definitely not as fast on them now as he was even at the Marquez fight, but that was what? almost 6 years ago, Floyd was just 32 then, just not much after 30, now he's almost 40. That's life and he's always in great shape but you cannot reverse these things. His legs are slower, its very clear. Does he need his legs at 30 years old to beat Pacquiao? Maybe not, Marquez didn't.

Hopkins has rarely been hit flush right up until the last fight, and his legs are not lightning fast...but he is very smart and uses them effectively and rarely gets hit. Knockdown aside, Mosley did a good job making Pacquiao looking ineffective at times by using the correct movement, not fast movement.
