Personally, I want more proof... I wonder though, a lot of fans here, seem to be against fighters looking to avenge a loss. "Oh he lost 8-4...No need for a rematch..." Leonard V Duran I & II come to mind. Sometimes a clear loss the first time around is redeemed in the rematch. I personally, am not one to accept defeat and so, I get the fighters who want do do it all over again regardless of the outcome the first time around.

What are some rematches you want to see and why?

Khan - maidana, I feel maidana has improved a lot since they fought and maidana has been in with some of the best at 140 and 147.

Canelo - Lara, I feel either guy could of won if theY focused a little more and prepared better, I expected a lot more from Canelo. I wanna see who is truly the best at 154

      Two acceptable rematches for sure.

Look at that Zingano chick from the UFC last night. She ran her mouth about how she was going to turn Rousey's face into soup and whatnot, but when it came to fighting in the ring, she got wrecked in under 20 seconds. After the fight, she was so devastated that all she could say was "I wanna do it again".

My thought is why? You had your shot and it wasn't even close, you got comprehensively shut down, no need for a rematch. I'm sure she was thinking about how she would approach it differently next time but that's why she got to study tape the first time and put together a strategy, obviously her strategy was the wrong one.

Granted, in some cases a rematch may look hopeless. But I am always curious to see what adjustments can be made or if an off night had more to do with the loss etc. Zingano got demo'd.

I don't know about you but I always want some get back.

Been like that since day one. In any competition, if I am bested, I am gonna try to do something about it.

It's the fire inside that needs to be quenched.

I wish this was the 80s. This is the Haymon protection era. Fight to close for comfort? No need for a rematch whatsoever. Look at the Garcia Herrera fight. If that fight was in the 80s, Danny would have said, "Happily!" to the rematch request. Nowadays, "I got duh win, and even doe dis croud uh Pwarto reecans is cheerin' for Herredia, i feelz like it dont evun matter!"

I would LOVE Garcia V herrerra II. I think Garcia puts down the hammer in a rematch. I don't think it was Garcia's best work at all and as per the punch stats, it was not the one-sided event some peasants are trying to make it out to be.
