manny never "clearly won" any fight vs marquez. .stop it , all three are debatable .. fourth was the only definitive result

I believe pacquiao clearly won the first fight, the other 2 could have gone to Marquez, but pacquiao deserved to win because of his effective aggression. If Marquez won any of those fights it would have been much more controversial. If 2 boxers throw and land about an equal amount of punches, the one who is being the aggressor and who's punches seem to have more effect is usually going to be the one who wins. Marquez was countering pretty good but not good enough to overcome mannys aggression and power punching. The first fight Manny only needed 2 more rounds to win after the first round which he did. So clearly he won the first fight and if the judge did not make that error which he admitted, pacquiao would have won that.

the may fight wont settle ANYTHING, we all know how bitter the pac fans are when pac loses, they will claim mayweather is on roids or garcia gave him "special wraps" because mayweather will do something in this fight he hasn't done before etc etc, the pac fans will also say "if this was 2009 pac would have hattoned him"

this fight settles nothing, im not a mayweather fan but the mayweather fans are nowhere near as ****** and annoying as the pac-tards.

I agree. Floyd never used to get touched cleanly, Pac always would take a punch here and there. Now, Floyd gets countered by Maidana and despite the KO by an ATG boxer like JMM, Pac seemingly takes his foot off the gas and carries fighters that he is already dominating.

People can see things in different ways and some perhaps choose to see it as Pac "lost his power", "lost his hunger" or whatever the case may be but it looks to me like he could easily KO these guys but doesn't see the need to do so. He had Rios ready to go and kind of just went into neutral because he was so far ahead.

Mayweather isn't that kind of guy, he'll try to step on the gas late to pull farther ahead on the cards and he will never "take it easy" just because he can. Maidana was actually countering Floyd's lead right with his own right as well as timing Floyd's pull counter and landing the right to the chest. No knock on Maidana but he is no where near as fast as Pac and if he can land on Floyd with those shots, people think that Pac isn't going to be able to do the same? Also, people seem to not think that Pac knows how to adapt at all but that is far from the case. He switches up his punches and will keep them coming from different angles so when Floyd thinks he has it figured out, they come from around the guard.

I'm not saying that Pac hasn't aged but I think that he is still able to better cope with the loss of his attributes more so than Floyd. 90+% of Floyd's game was his reflexes which constituted most of his defense. With a slip in reflexes, the shoulder roll isn't that effective, just ask Broner. He still has excellent defense, don't get me wrong but that slight loss in reflexes means more than Pac's loss of speed does to him.

Floyd waited for Pacquiao to slow down.

It was well know that Floyd would do this, he has done it in the past as well to Mosley and Cotto.

Mosley has even said he thought Floyd would wait a bit longer but was pressured into the fight.

I thought it was supposed to be the other way around. The graceful boxer who has taken no damage aged well. Meanwhile Pac relies on pure athleticism and has been KO'ed in that time frame so naturally all of his aggression from before isn't there because he's weary of being timed again.
