Comments Thread For: Provodnikov: Pacquiao Not as Hungry, Still Has A lot Left

Former WBO junior welterweight champion Ruslan Provodnikov will do everything possible to help his close friend and Wild Card stablemate, Manny Pacquiao, as the Filipino star prepares for the biggest fight in boxing against Floyd Mayweather Jr. on May 2nd at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Provodnikov agrees that Pacquiao is not the same hungry fighter who was overwhelming opponents several years ago, but he still feels the WBO welterweight champion has a lot of his superstar attributes left in the tank.

People are mistaking Pacquiao fighting more conservative as him not being as hungry.

Too bad Manny and his sparring partner will be disappointed after the fight!
      Easy fight for TBE.

There's only one person that I think is more confident in his abilities in the ring over Floyd Mayweather. That is Manny Pacquiao.

You can analyse both fighters attributes, weaknesses, and best wins. Reveling at the idea that you can figure out, statistically, who will win May 2nd. But Manny Pacquiao has the skills, awkwardness, power, speed, and determination to take out Floyd. This fight shouldn't be about what Manny has to do to win. It's about what Floyd will have to do to disarm the aggressive accurate Pacquiao. Pacquiao doesn't have to be meaner then ever to take the fight away from Floyd. He just has to fight smart, adjusting and attacking consistently.

The only time Ive seen Manny shook was when Floyd told him to his face to stop BSing , Manny was clearly shook any body would think it was the first time he has ever seen Floyd up close .

I like this remarks. The more negative remarks, the better. Don't be surprise if you see that hungry lion come fight night. We will see a more motivated, hungry Manny Pacquiao no doubt in my mind.

I don't think Manny was shook. I just think it was just eye opening and he realized most of what he's been told and believed over the last 5-6yrs is bull****.
