Once Pacquiao walked away from the $40m offer without even putting forward a counteroffer, it became clear to everyone that Pacquiao didn't want it.

If the fight isn't possible and people keep asking, what were you actually expecting

Have to admit. Smart Manny didn't take the 40Mil in the long run.

        don't ignore that fact
Dudes were saying this, can't front but there are and were things Manny's clan have denied saying. I think as men we owe it to ourselves to not act like b!tc#'s by manning up and being able to admit when we were wrong and made mistakes.

Pacquiao's already ($75m x P40) in the hole [hopefully Pacquiao paid at least some of that bill; otherwise he's really ****ed]

$80m, taking away the current tax bill, his promoter's cut, camp expenses, etc, is really more like $20m. you add in the hanger-ons, his contributions to his church, and his other "charity work" and he's looking at even less.

Say what you want about Floyd; he's had the foresight, or was neurotic enough, to not have any loan debt to deal with and he's put his affairs in the hands of knowledgeable enough people to settle whatever tax debt he carried over from working under Arum.

For all his excesses, everything that Floyd has is paid for, often in cash.

The fight is made now and at one point it was a 50/50 split with a purse of 50mil each so the fact that one is getting 80mil but the other is getting 120mil and these are just purses is crazy. And Floyd money is record breaking so who cares about talks years ago lol. Floyd whole goal was to come out way on top and that goal was accomplished but Manny is still getting his to..
True but not too long ago people were saying that Manny was dumb for not accepting the 40Mil.

You even broke down how much Arum will take from his purse and yet you didn't even think about Mays deductions after everything is said and done? Sit in the corner with Reloaded and suck on your thumb as well. Sit
Haymon is not taking 50% of Mayweather's $. That was something dumb to say in itself.

He turned down 40M to fight for less than half ... And GOT KO'd lol. It was looking rough for him at that point. I'm sure he even second guessed himself in turning that money down. Props to him though he pulled himself back up put together a few decent wins and here we are. It could've went a different way though even taking into account the opposition he faced, in boxing you just never know but he took a gamble it payed off. Much respect!
