Why you guys so obsess on how much Arum will take out from Manny's earnings? I just don't get it? Why you guys are so affected on how much Arum stealing from Manny. What about Al Haymon? You think he's not gonna get a lion share from Mayweathers earnings? After all those deals with multiple networks just to showcase his talents? He'll need 50% from Floyds earning just to pay those TV deals.

damn.. in 2010 they were not gonna do numbers like that.. letting this fight ride a five year promotion paid off .. now other boxers will follow suit..let the big fight sizzle on the stove for as long as u can, tease people with it..then when all hope is lost..make it happen
trust me every "big fight" will now mimic this strategy

People kill me still talking about this 40mil offer. That was years ago. Different talks. Different circumstances. Different everything. The fight is made now and at one point it was a 50/50 split with a purse of 50mil each so the fact that one is getting 80mil but the other is getting 120mil and these are just purses is crazy. And Floyd money is record breaking so who cares about talks years ago lol. Floyd whole goal was to come out way on top and that goal was accomplished but Manny is still getting his to..

The long game only works for only a chosen few, most others will fall woefully short so no need to worry about that.Last edited by The Gambler1981; 03-01-2015, 12:12 AM.

You (as stated) numbnuts are going back and forth debating about an offer that occurred over three years ago, and the merits or lack thereof behind the offer -- While acknowledging that it was wise at the time to reject the offer.
