What did he show is in that fight to demonstrate him being ready for wlad, a tall ring master. Needs to be wilder fury first, see how fury does with an apparently sub standard tall guy.. That's line him up for unification.. Big money.
Besides the way he acts all too often (both in and out of the ring) Tyson Fury looks far too much like a R. Crumb character for me to take him seriously. That plus his ever receding hairline (which makes his head seem too small for his body), his goofy smile with the overlong right canine, enough saggy skin for an entire season of "The Biggest Loser," in addition to his over wide hips and too narrow shoulders, with a voice straight out of cartoon central, and I can't see him as a serious challenge to Wlad under any circumstances.
So basically, he has no business being in the ring with Wlad because he's too funny-looking? Interesting angle...
Wlad doesn't 1-punch KO anybody. In fact, since just before being KO'd by the ferocious Lamon Brewster back in 2004, Wlad hasn't even had a R1KO. Know why? Because Wlad became much better at fighting behind the jab. Have you seen Wlad fight before? He doesn't come out swinging in R1. He paces himself behind his jab. So let's get real.

Agreed, but he's mandatory for Wlad, not for Wilder. I don't see Wilder taking on a remotely challenging opponent for a first defense, and Fury is not about to wait around. I think that even if/when he loses to Wlad, the division is thin enough that Wilder-Fury still makes sense.

I think he meant Wlad would KO him with one punch, not the first punch. You know, like he knocked Pulev out in his last fight.
According to half of this forum Wlad has been "ducking Fury for years now". I guess someone forgot to tell Fury. He's just now decided he's ready for a shot.
Fury is decent but he should be fighting bigger guy 6'4"-6'8" to get ready for wlad not guys like chisora who is 6 foot, same with the hammer guy. If wlad lands his right fury is out cold!!id love to see wilder-fury too
