  • Comments Thread For: Arum on Frenzy For Mayweather-Pacquiao Tickets

Ticket price points still have yet to be established for the May 2 superfight between Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao, yet demand has already exceeded any available supply.

Once they are set, it’s highly unlikely that the sport’s true and every day fans will have any access to tickets. It’s just as well, as few if any will be able to afford them. The event – more than five years in the making – has been the most discussed topic in any medium from the moment it was announced just over a week ago.

Arum should have asked for $250,000 for his ticket.

they should be on their second fight already..maybe in third..all indications show that the 40 million offere was 40% of the purse....but now they are making 2 times that without a 2nd fight..they really robbed us blind

Actually being at the fights is very anti-climatic. Unless you're within 20 feet of the ring, watching a live stream on TV is a million times better. Even PPV is better. I sat above the ring with Floyds family when he fought Genaro Hernandez and won his first title. That was good seating. Been to a hundred other fights and sat further away and all youre doing is watching the big screen anyway not the ring. Total waste of money and you dont wanna know about getting in and out of parking at the MGM. Bottom line and I mean this very seriously, I wouldnt accept a FREE ticket to this fight that wasnt in the first 50 feet away from the ring

I totally agree, live sports in general are usually dull unless you have great seats.
