Middleweight Jonathan Cepeda (17-1 with 15 KOs) scored a first round TKO over Laatekwei Hammond (21-9 with 14 KOs) at The Mansion Club in Atlanta, Georgia on Sunday (February 22nd). After Cepeda knocked down Hammond three times within the first round, referee Brian Slutts stopped the fight at the 1:39 mark. Hammond had to be lifted up from the floor by the ref and his manager after the assault by a Cepeda. It was Cepeda's fifth straight win following a knockout loss and nearly two years away from the sport.
