Brook is a relatively fresh name and Khan is boxing in America for years now. Really the only common thing in them that they are both brits.
How is it not a big rivalry? They've been going at each for years and are both current/former titlists in a packed weight class. Khan - Brook would sell 80'000 tickets at Wembley. Just because it isn't based in North America doesn't mean it isn't a huge rivalry.

Khan would get KOed again, he is one of the most over rated boxers here.

        In before they say Lucas/Garcia

Amir Khan doesn't want to fight Kell Brook

Rid**** Bowe refused to face Lennox Lewis

George Foreman refused to fight Larry Holmes especially later on in their careers in the early 90s and late 80s, Holmes was calling Foreman out and he refused or would just ignore questions about Holmes.
          All great examples.

How about The Body Snatcher against Hearns or Leonard?

I don't know if they were really rivals per se (and there was a weight gap) but I remember some talk in boxing publications about Terry Norris v Julio Cesar Chavez. That they had crossed paths a couple of times and got into it and it created some talks on the fight. I was super young at the time and i didn't have much appreciation of weight classes so I dont know how realistic it really could have been.
