Swedish light welterweight Anthony Yigit (12-0-1, 5 KOs) will go toe-to-toe with Germany’s Timo Schwarzkopf (14-0, 8 KOs) on March 21 at the StadtHalle in Rostock. The undefeated boxers will meet on the undercard of the WBA World Light Heavyweight Championship clash between Juergen Braehmer and Robin Krasniqi.
Yigit returns following the sixth-round destruction of Kim Poulsen at the Nordic Fight Night in Frederikshavn, Denmark earlier this month, which saw the Stockholm fighter claim the WBC Baltic Welterweight title. Yigit outworked and outclassed his Danish opponent, flooring Poulsen with a vicious body shot in the fifth-round, before an explosive uppercut put an end to the action in the sixth.
