    Juan Diaz (40-4) has advised BoxingScene.com that there is a strong possibility that he he will return to the ring on May 1st at the Cosmopolitan Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, NV. Top Rank recently had their application for the date and venue approved by the Nevada State Athletic Commission.

    The fight, which takes place on the eve of the Floyd Mayweather-Manny Pacquiao mega-fight, will possibly be for the 135 pound WBO title that became vacant when former champion Terence Crawford announced that he was moving up to the super lightweight division.

              Juan diaz? Sounds familiar but can't remember or maybe just the diaz part. Was he the one Keith beat last year

                  He had the fight fight of the year in 09 with JMM. He also had a good pair of fights with Malignaggi, and a war awesome fight with Katsidis.

                  Never took a dime from me he didn't earn.

                      Remember when Juan Diaz was supposed to be the next big mexican american star hbo was pushing this pillow puncher with the chubby body hard, Oscar and Richard even gave him more money than they gave Pacquiao. smh.

                      They gave him over 1 million dollar signing bonus, yet gave Pac what 200k signing bonus in cash? slap in the face really.

                      Seems Pac always gets ****ed over.
