You are in denial about what a chicken middleweight champ Cotto is but most fans see him for what he is. He is a shot picking, ducking, once a year fighting excuse for a champion. I hope Bundrage beats him. He probably won't but at least Bundrage was always willing to fight the best fighters in his weight class unlike Middleweight champ Cotto who's favorite opponents are welterweights.
The fact that Brundage is even a name being associated with a Cotto fight is sad. Cotto should know better than to make that fight. That's the ultimate cherry pick. That's a down right shame to having a mandatory defense. Might as well fight Salka. That's a complete and utter farce. Anybody who justifies this is a sad, sad, man.

You really don't seem to know what a middleweight fight is. A true middleweight fight has a top limit of 160. Not 159 or 158 or 157 or 156 or 155. A fighter in a true middleweight fight can weigh the full 160 pounds or less. Canelo's fights with a weight limit of 155 are not middleweight fights. Check boxing history. The weight limit for the middleweight champ's title fights from Greb to Robinson to Monzon to Hagler has always been 160 and not an ounce less. It wasn't until Martinez came along and agreed to lower weight limits for middleweight title fights so that Jr. middleweights like Williams and Cotto would agree to fight him at weird weight limits of 157 or 159. Nothing has changed. A middleweight fight is still a fight with a limit of 160 and no less. So when you say Canelo is fighting as a middleweight when the upper weight limit of his fights is 155 you don't know what the fuc you are talking about.

U are wrong. Any fight above 154 is a middle weight fight. Canelo is fighting at MW essentially. Whether it's 154.5, 155, 158 or 160. All MW fights.

You aren't even reading what I write. I didn't say fight did I ? No, I said TITLE FIGHT. The middleweight limit a fighter can weigh for the world middleweight title fight is a full 160 pounds and not a fucing ounce less and that has been the weight limit for over 100 years.Fights between 154 and 160 are just catchweight fights or agreements between two fighters. Damn near all fighters fight over their class weight limit for non title fights just as Canelo is doing fighting at 155. If Canelo is fighting as a middleweight why in hell would he fight just one pound over jr middleweight and handicap himself. He would fight at 160 or more.

155 is the minimum for a MW, 160 is the maximum. Anything in between is a catchweight... IN THE MW DIVISION. How are you so ****** to not understand that?

At the bold... Because he isn't fighting any MW's, he's fighting JMW's and not having to put forth more effort to actually get into the division. I don't expect you to understand that though.
