On this upcoming Saturday night blue chip prospect Felix Verdejo was supposed to make his first ring appearance of 2015 at the Sun Dome in Tampa, FL. in the main event of Unimas' weekly Solo Boxeo series. Verdejo however suffered an injury in training camp and is now out until April.
His loss became highly touted 20-year-old prospect Julian Rodriguez's (8-0) gain. The New Jersey resident was originally scheduled to appear in the co-feature slot against Raul Tovar (14-8) but they have since been bumped up into the main event slot.
