    W. Klitschko's unification

So he has the WBO, WBA, IBF and IBO belts. If somebody beats him does he get all 4 belts or do they disgracefully partition the belts? What about if he retires as a champion and they put his championship up for grabs between the next 2 top contenders? He worked so hard to unify the titles and I doubt anybody would want to see 4-5 pseudo champions like in the 00s. Just wondering how this would go down.

He puts all his belts on the line with his fights.

If he retires, each sanctioning body / belt could have a different fight be for its championship.

As long as the opponent pays the sanctioning fees for all the belts then they would get all his belts if they won.

In the Pulev fight only the IBF was on the line for him to win so Wlad would have still had his other belts.

Pulev would have won the IBF title the others becoming vacant.

Any idea how much they would need to pay each?

Whatever it is, this is what's wrong with boxing.
