    Andre Ward back in 2013...

"You guys make these guys out to be bogeymen and monsters. We as fighters, we don't think like that. I respect (Golovkin), but I see holes in his game. ... Ask them if they want it at 168 (pounds) right now. I don't see them asking for that. I see them saying anybody from 160 to 175, but when they're pressed, I don't see him calling me out. Stop beating around the bush and get straight to it."

All the Triple DDD (duck duck duck) fans are afraid of SOG as well. They would cry if that fight got signed this year.

Meanwhile the Andre Ward supporters wouldn't break a sweat.

    Perspective.

Golovkin (28-0, 25 KO) last fought on November 2, stopping Curtis Stevens after eight rounds. He's currently set to return on February 1 in Monte Carlo, which won't be an HBO-televised fight.

Do you expect Ward-Golovkin to happen in 2014?

I find it interesting you took an article from 2 years ago and Ward's fought once since then while GGG has fought like 6-8 times. Only one person is a b*tch and that's the guy calling himself a fighter but isn't fighting.

I bet you wish he was retired. Than GGG would vacate that 160 belt immediately.

I wish prime Winky Wright was around today. LOL! It'd be like GGG who?

Ya'll can make all the "Who is Andre Ward" posts that you want. I won't even respond to such idiocy.

The GREATS make the best fights happen. If GGG wasn't always being talked about like he's the most feared fighter and the next great thing then SOG wouldn't be in the convo.

Fact is SOG has already agreed that he would consider fighting GGG if Team GGG wants it. Team GGG has turned the fight down multiple times now, yet wants to keep acting like GGG is this feared specimen.

Everyone criticizes Floyd for ducking but last time I checked Floyd has fought just about every threat in his weight class or near it. He didn't have to fight Cotto or Canelo above 147 and he did.

So I don't want to hear the BS about Ward being too big. Hell, even lil Pacman moved up the weight classes to fight the best.

GGG obviously can't get fights with the best in his weight class (Canelo, Cotto, Kid Chocolate) so why not take the better fight at 168? Floyd has done it, so has Pac. Even Broner rose up in weight looking to fight the best.

Team GGG has ZERO CONFIDENCE that they can take Ward. PERIOD!

If the best fighter at 168 was old man Hopkins, I'm sure GGG would already be campaigning at 168.

SOG is truly the most DUCKED champion fighting today. Even BHOPS said he wanted no part of Ward. He'd rather try his chances with Kovalev. LOL!

Team GGG knows SOG would end it all... it'd look like Mayweather vs. Hatton.
Ward does not even fight dude...2 fights since 2011 is hardly being active. GGG is BY FAR the A side in this fight and should take the fight when he feels like it.. Ward, as great as he is, has ZERO fans.. Except you anyway lol..
The fight will happen in 2016 most likely. Let ward get his 2-3 comeback fights while GGG cleans up the middleweight division and then they can get it on next year..

Fact: There has never been a single offer from Team Ward to fight Golovkin. You can't reject an offer if there is no offer.

Furthermore the man hasn't fought in well over a year due to legal issues with his promoter.

Let Golovkin at least attempt to clean out his division, which is 160, and then he can move up if he wants (although he doesn't have to move up, just like Ward isn't obligated to go to 175 even though he's already cleaned out his division of 168 and has had offers at 175...).

Mayweather already fought and was a champ at 154 before fighting Cotto & Canelo. Plus those are HUGE PPV fights. GGG vs Ward isn't a PPV fight (and if it is it's like what, 250k buys tops?).

Let's allow GGG what he deserves - to become the best middleweight and unify. Meanwhile Ward can have his 1-2 tune up fights that he wants. After, if GGG wants to move up in weight, they can fight. If not, and if Ward still can't find big fights, there's always Kovalev at 175 who's offered to fight Ward. So let's not have double standards here.

You can't duck a fighter who is in a higher weight class than you. Your two year old quotes are a ****ing joke. Was there a contract offered, or just typical cheap talk from Ward? He talks and Golovkin fights. But apparently you are more impressed with style rather than substance.

lol what is the meaning of this? Pulling up fighters from the past? If prime Roy Jones was at 168 it'd be like Ward who? Sorry but there is no Winky in 2015. Right now GGG is attempting to unify 160. This is his goal as he's stated repeatedly over the past couple years. Every fighter should have that same goal in their respective division as the only true champion is a unified/lineal champ. Ward knows this well as he's been at 168 for many years and beat the top guys in his weight class, unified titles and became the lineal champ. As boxing fans we should always favor unification bouts for the sake of the sport and clarity.

SOG has no fans? If that's the case GGG should have no problem fighting Ward in Oakland, CA. Right?????

We all know SOG had business issues that have kept him from being active. However, the point being MISSED is SOG's inactivity has not caused the GGG fight not to happen. Team GGG won't even entertain the damn fight so what does Ward's inactivity really have to do with anything?

Team GGG has already gone on record stating they're not ready for SOG at this point. So why is it so hard for the ball licking fans to comprehend and accept this?

This is the same thing Team Cotto did back when Cotto was at 140. Mayweather wanted to fight him at 140. Team Cotto/Arum DUCKED Floyd stating Cotto was too green...SAME DAMN SCENARIO HERE!
