He doesn't have to though. Pacquaio is doing light training now and will pick things up next month. It's not a situation of Roach picking Shiming over Pacquiao. It's not necessary for him to be with Pac right now. Now someone like Ruslan who has a fight on 4/18 is probably SOL.

pac is leaving to the wild card first week of march. roach is still training shiming for his upcoming fight. i believe roach even said he wont make the trip to china since he's gonna be busy training manny instead.
