Who will be the first to get to Pretty Boy Floyd?

I'm sure that this question is on a lot of people's minds. Some may think that on April 8th, Zab Judah is going to be the man to do it. In my opinion, if you just give him a little bit of time to establish himself more, Miguel Cotto will eventually take him. Cotto is slick, he has good defense, he's technically sound, and he has a devastating punch. I think that Cotto-Mayweather will be a fight that we all will remember.

This thread has been done about a billion times, but I'll chip in with my 2 cents anyways...

I actually have fifty quid on Cotto to beat PBF if this fight ever happens, but I wouldnt be surprised if I lose. Cotto has looked a bit shaky recently whereas PBF seems to be going from strength to strength. That said, PBF will never have faced someone that can punch as hard as Cotto, or with as good a chin. I still think that Cotto COULD beat PBF but whether he WOULD or not is a different issue.

has to be one of them, cuz i can't wait for amir khan to do it. cotto, zab, hatton, margarito, odlh all have chances - but pbf is so sick that i think he outclasses them all. see, rjj, always to me was a one trick pony, speed - now not a dis to rjj fans but i ALWAYS thought since i first saw pbf that he was 10x's better than rjj. just superior in all facets except maybe for speed - i just don't see a antonio tarver in mayweathers future. could you imagine if he fought all those names up there - and won

he'd bump the greatest out of first place for the greatest to ever lace them up

honestly I think that right now, not even Cotto or Hatton can mess with him. Margarito either.

There's only one fighter from 154 down that has the body type, jab, strength, and most importantly style to beat Floyd Mayweather Jr.

I don't know what he has left in the tank though. But that Forrest jab would give Floyd major problems.

yeah man, raw talent that kid has, its why i said i can't wait for him to come around, it'd be in like 6 years when that fight would happen, and mayweather could be past his prime then.
