    This.
Don't be delusional, Haymon fighters won't fight on HBO anytime soon and especially not against a dangerous guy who is under other promotional company. The only exception if the govering bodies somehow force fight between a TR/GBP/K2 fighter and Haymon fighter but even then it can be happen that Haymon makes his fighter vacate if he really wants.

Danny Jacobs vs Lara would be an in-house fight to make if Lara wanted to move up to 160lbs.
Lara would be 1 win away from getting a mandatory shot at GGG's WBA belt.
Let's see how much Lara wants this fight.
I think Lara's fans and GGG detractors want it more than anyone lol

I really like this fight. The best stalker vs the best runner. For Lara it will be a good payday and a loss doesn't really change your career. A win catapults him. For GGG it would further validate his skills. I also feel that it would be more competitive than a lot of people here think.

I don't even think they'll enforce it. Year and a half would be Fall time..so we'll see

If Lara is in that position then they could lobby the WBA to enforce the mandatory.
This is a "perfect world" scenario and assuming that Lara actually wants this fight and wasn't just being a Haymon fighter playing the name game.

Lara is a dispensable fighter in Haymon's stable. Much like Alexander, Porter and others. I don't think Lara's team can use Haymon as an excuse why fights with HBO/TR fighters can't be made. If Lara is really interested, he can push those fights with no issues with Haymon.

But if he ends up taking a beating, it very well could change his career. I don't care how much you think you move, but Gennady will end up finding you. If he ends up even just barely stunning you and getting you against the ropes, the fight changes from there on out. That said, I would still like to see this fight. If Lara really wants to get it and hasn't been blowing hot air on Twitter, I'm sure something could work out.

I don't even know what keeps Lara from pursuing Golovkin. Haymon don't give a flying t****ze about you doe. He doesn't mind throwing you in a den full of lions.

This fight is not hard to make if Lara really wants it. Lara doesn't even have to consult Haymon about this fight.

Make it happen doe. Prove that you really want it, or you're just blowing hot air.

Do you think that it would be a possible scenario where Golovkin/Jacobs goes to purse bids, Haymon wins and moves the fight off HBO where Golovkin has an exclusive deal. Because Golovkin can't fight off HBO and Haymon holds the promotional rights to the event to which Golovkin can't comply with, Golovkin is stripped of his WBA title?

Haymon has favorites and he might not see a great deal of value in pushing Lara, especially if Lara can knock off his more marketable young guys like J-Rock.

Throw Lara in with Golovkin, if he wins he returns with more value, if he loses competitively he still returns with more value, if he's destroyed maybe he's softened up for the other guys. Same time, Lara is dipping into HBO's budget and not Haymon's.
