Vada is better because they catch cheats. Go ask Morales, Berto, and PEDerson about it. Hell go ask Marquez who wouldn't face bradley unless the testing protocol wasn't VADA despite Bradley desperately wanting Vada. Marquez also declined a huge payday against pacquiao because he didn't want VADA, or was it because he wanted to keep the feeling, or was it because his right knee got hurt?(god knows what other excuse he comes up with next)

The point is simple VADA is cheaper and more reliable but a guy associated with Mr. Heredia wouldn't want that test method because he knows he'll get caught. If you can't see that i can't help you.

No, shes been consistent the whole time. Promoter/fighter contracted testing is a sham. But its magnanimous of them to agree to it even after the contracts are signed. So Pascal needs to reciprocate and compromise on test agency, esp since Vada is cheaper and more reputable as boxing goes

Isn't that what Duva is saying too? They're only willing to do VADA. If it's not an issue for them, why do they care who does the testing?

If it is an issue, why can't she offer to pay for VADA herself or get Kovalev to?

Pascal offered to pay and Kathy, god bless her soul, offered him a cheaper option. Pascal turned it down.

You still want Kovalev to get tested, that's great. Pascal for some reason doesn't, so it isn't happening.

I'm pretty sure she didn't want to pay for extra testing but given that Pascal is the one asking for testing and he didn't have the decency of asking during negotiations, then i don't see why it's wrong for her to insist on VADA. VADA is the only one i trust to do these testings and so no point in pascal demanding it to be the test he can pass with memo.

Here's the problem-Duva wants VADA and gave the reason for using it as "My guy is the champ, I have the right to pick the protocol". I disagree.

Duva didn't want to pay for it up front, because her guy is champ, but wants to dictate the method, because her guy is champ. If Pascal doesn't bring this up-there would still be NO TESTING, because DUva failed to put it in the contract.

She was being cheap then is in the media making the issue Pascal not wanting VADA. SHe wants VADA without paying for it. Come out of pocket!!

Why didn't Pascal? He's the one who conveniently makes a stink about testing after contracts have been signed (going back to the Hopkins fights). So why didn't he suggest the best testing agency in da bidness? Cuz he has Memo. He's dirty as hell.
