Should Matthysse wear mexican gloves against Provodnikov?

Lucas Matthysse usually wears Everlast Powerlock gloves because i think he had problems in one of his hands in the past. But the fact that Provodnikov has this tendency to get his face cut and swollen during his fight makes me wonder, should Matthysse risk his hands changing to punchers gloves in order to make more damage to Ruslan's face? I think he should. What do you think?
