Sources have told BoxingScene.com that the highly anticipated junior welterweight showdown between Rusland Provodnikov and Lucas Matthysse will be staged at the Turning Stone Resort and Casino in Verona, New York on April 18th as part of a split-site doubleheader on HBO, which will also feature Terrence Crawford, likely against Thomas Dulorme. This deal was finalized on Monday afternoon.

Golden Boy Promotions and Banner Promotions had hoped to put this fight in the Los Angeles area (specifically the StubHub Center in Carson) but found that these various venues were already booked.
