Is anyone surprised that this fight would be expensive to go to? If so, why?

          What to do....
Go to vegas, you have been waiting for this for quite a long time now.

Hawaii can wait. it will still be Hawaii 5 years later LOL

          Save again for it later

So we don't know the real price of the tickets yet? This is just the price they're hoping to sell @?

Not saying they won't, but Canelo floyd were selling at $1,500 and went as low as $300, day of...

For $8k upper deck nosebleed you get to experience the following...

              -****ty undercard
              -boring casual fans
              -Mayweather brings out his clowns
-get to hear the Filipino song that top rank has ran to the ground.

I'll pass and watch it on TV. If I paid $8k for Gatti-Ward 1 type of fight I'm all for it but this fight is going to stink.
Well said, I totally agree with your expectation for this fight
but I wouldn't pay 8K for any boxing fight except
              Ali vs Foreman
              Ali vs Frazier III
              Tyson vs Holyfield I

where both fighters go for the win, not someone waiting in his shell waiting for the granted decision

That's not entirely true; the most expensive SECONDARY ticket is $65,000.

If you can get a face value ticket, the price is going to be way lower; doubt that the general public gets any face value tickets though.

We shouldn't be surprised if the tickets are high. Its the fight that everyone wants to see.

Oh what the hay... Anybody know what corner stool tickets are going for?

Heck, I'll settle for rafter and under the ring tickets too.
