The only people Floyd has punished real bad in recent years have been women.

Pacquiao has fought different styles recently, Floyd has fought slow come forward plodders.
i see, so as hes throwing all these punches will he be leaving himself open as he tends to do? especially dropping that left hand after his combos... will he cut off the ring? will he throw volume the whole fight? u know of late pac man takes alot of rounds off... how will it go on the inside? when pac is forced to box how do u think it will fare out?... and yes pac will be the fastest floyd has faced of late and with the best footwork... that is agreed.. i just think its more to boxing than this...

Will Floyd capitalize on that? Maybe, but how can he when Pacquiao will be gone and at another angle before Floyd can capitalize.

Does Floyd have the power to keep Manny off? Maybe, but probably not.

Once again, Floyd isn't the counter puncher Juan is. It's literally night and day.

It's not supposed to be humor. It's a fact. Why would I joke about abusing women?

u just gave a great dont know **** about boxing answer...manny has experience with marquez and didnt learn either time..so wat does it matter if he has fought new styles...do u agree the 2nd fight with bradley was much closer than the first?...maidana is not a freaking plodder...he's at 160 plus pound in the ring beast..when u see that coming at u with his punching power loaded the last thing you are thinking is plodder...mannys volume is not the same vs boxers they make him reset the more he lunges the more floyd doesnt have to be in the pocket..he can hop back break distance that manny needs while he uses his longer arms to come over the top...and tbh floyd is any kind of counter puncher he needs to be..its just that u do no see him sit in the pocket with 160lb guys all night..look at the hatton fight and see how he abused the smaller fighter who uses several angles to get inside...manny's best bet is one i'm not willing to bet on at every angle in this fight..if he wins fair and square he is truly an over achiever in my book

I wasn't predicting a political robbery, just that judges do prefer certain styles and will favor that on the scorecards in a close fight. Although a robbery is not out of the question. This is not going to be an easy fight for Floyd. Pac will find a home for those left hands of his and body punches as well. Floyd will have to dig deep and time Pac and reduce his workrate which is easier said than done. It will come down to volume and pressure vs accuracy and timing. Pac is very fast on his feet so he is not going to find Floyd impossible to hit, neither is Floyd going to find Pac impossible to time and counter. It is possible both men come away looking great by a great performance. No way is this a boring fight.

I believe Manny will put forth an effort but here are the things that make me see that there is a high chance that Mayweather beats on Pacquiao.

                    1. Roach doesn't know or sound confident on how to approach this fight. He has had YEARS but yet he still doesn't have a clue how to get Pacquiao prepared for Mayweather's style. Roach even said Manny has to fight perfect and against Mayweather, that will not be the case.

                    2. Manny is physically smaller than Mayweather and really doesn't have anything over Floyd because there speed is about equal. If anything Floyd is more accurate and makes his punches count when he lands. Floyd has been fighting physically bigger opponents so I can't see Pacquiao being strong enough to make Floyd uncomfortable for 12 rounds without Mayweather taking advantage of Manny's lack of defense.

                    3. Manny just doesn't adjust on the fly. He can show different looks but his approach stays the same. Floyd just knows how to adjust when he is in trouble and back a fighter down with enough sting to get him time to breath.

                    4. Manny is not a one punch guy but rather needs to connect more than once and with Floyd that is very difficult to do, to his defense. Also, Floyd's chin is stamped as sturdy. He took some pretty big punches, kept his composure and continued to fight and win. That has to be a big + for Mayweather.

                    5. Mayweather's reach could potentially keep Manny on the outside and set him up for some big counters.

                    6. Manny swings wild sometimes, loses his balance and lunges in and with Mayweather this is a mistake not to mention Manny does these mistakes regularly.

                    7. Manny cannot cut off the ring and it showed how frustrated he was with the movement of Mosley. Even though Mosley came to lose, we still saw Manny frustrated because he had no answer on how to trap Shane. I know his fans will shout "Algieri is a boxer" but come on man.

At the moment these are my 7 I see but I'm going to watch some of their fights to see more but in my opinion Pacquiao is a big name as well but as far as being on Mayweather's level skill wise. I just don't see it. He's a very good fighter but his history with technical fighters or guys who show different looks is not that impressive. The fact that Manny and Roach could not figure out Marquez after so many years has me seriously doubting they will figure out how to beat Mayweather. Pacquiao fans don't hate me for my opinion because you don't have to like or agree with it.

Pacquiao is not a good inside fighter either while Mayweather can be up close in your chest and hit you with anything he fires off. Pacquiao is in trouble. Floyd just has to be Floyd while Manny needs a whole new look like someone else on here stated.
