I have been critical of GGG's opposition level in a lot of my past posts, but he impressed me a lot in this fight, and he finally showed adjustments. He impressed me with his constant pressure! its a nightmare to be in the ring with this guy - I give Ward, Chavez Jr, and kovalev the only shot at beating him and notice this group is 1 - 2 divisions north! I pick Ward for obvious reasons, and from what I saw GGG will bring too much and that will be used against him. I give Chavez Jr a shot because he has a very good CHIN! he wears on you, and Chavez Jr is very under rated (yes I have also criticized Chavez Jr in past posts) and we see what style GGG emulates and that's the Great Julio Cesar Chavez sr. who else to crack the code than Jr. lol ! GGG studied the tape on Murray well - he killed him all day with the short uppercut, he exploited a style / technique flaw - Murray couldn't adjust, if he could have made that adjustment, I think he would have really been able to put up a much better test, but I will still give him props for being tough - kind of a double edged sword. being labeled tough usually equates to a lot of competitive a$$ whoopings - lol

In most of GGG fights he's looked very skilled to me on top of his power and pressure. What impressed me the most was his stiff jab that actually broke guys down and created his offense, plus he never forgets the body, picks his shots beautifully and has awesome timing and usually good defense...I barely saw any of that last night and its pretty impressive he was still able to win. But last night his shot selection wasn't great, he missed a lot, and his defense wasn't good and got caught a lot and he's lucky the guy he fought had no power. Part of that was obviously Murray's strategy and experience of course but I'll give GGG the benefit of the doubt cuz to me he looked a little off his game last night and wasn't his normal selfComment

People need to go on youtube and watch some experts do analysis on his abilities and technique. A lot of it is so subtle that most people don't understand it. The guy tucks his chin amazingly well even when throwing bombs which is not something we are used to seeing. He's also shown he can be good defensively when he needs to or wants to be. The same ppl that come on here talking about a fight being a game of chess, do not understand that Golovkin's jab is the pawn and he's constantly measuring you with it and I mean constantly. Give this man his props or miss out on a great fighter hating on him instead.Comment

Yea i don't get that either. Martinez has one fight left and it will be at home against a soft opponnent.Comment

Golovkin and Quillin are obviously the class of the division; how good they actually are would likely be determined when they step in with a real somebody, or each other. (Cotto knocked off the prior king, but it's unclear how he matches up against the other middleweights).
Every other fighter in the top 10 has either A) already shown themselves to be lacking or B) look like C/B-level fighters.Comment
