In what way is he the best? The great Sugar Ray had a better list of opponents and was the supreme boxer/puncher archetype. Hagler was the mans man type of fighter who also had the far superior list of opponents. Hopkins was more skilled and managed to unify all the titles.

Hopkins might have provided stiff competition. I tip Golovkin pretty securely.

Hagler would have been in the fight but Golovkin should definitely waste him.

Robinson is a bum compared to Golovkin and would never step into the same ring as him. None of his 200 opponents are worth a dfrop of piss compared to Golovkin or most of his opponents either.

GGG can be defensive. He is simply an offensive fighter. Thing is, Golovkin can afford to **** them out because he has a cast iron chin.

Golovkin is a unique specimen in boxing.

He can walk through the biggest punches from the most elite punchers in the division. And land his own devastating blows which can shatter the hardest chins.

Nobody current beats that. And certainly no nostalgic can fighter!

Hagler is a poor mans Canelo.
