(1.26 million viewers / 15% marketshare among those in the crucial group of 14 - 49 years of age)
2.22 million / 17.1% marketshare for GGG vs Murray at 12 am
(less than 0.7 million viewers* / 11.1%)

That's mostly the case here as far as boxing broadcasts are concerned, they usually draw especially strong numbers among middle-aged and older men in East Germany -
Klitschko fights being the exception to the rule, those are being watched by virtually every demographic, young girls and women included.
Ex.: When Wladimir fought Haye in 2011, 15.5 million viewers tuned in! (a 67% marketshare)
Only Henry Maske (and Axel Schulz vs Botha, over 18 million viewers) ever got more viewers way back in the 1990s and for his rematch with Virgil Hill in 2007.Last edited by Chillman; 02-23-2015, 01:20 AM.Comment

Excellent info. Wonder if the same trend will hold in the US now that they're putting boxing back on over the air networks. That's mostly the case here as far as boxing broadcasts are concerned, they usually draw especially strong numbers among middle aged and older men in East Germany -
