Agreed - Manny has to come at Floyd the way Duran came at Leonard, or he won't have a chance.

I think if we see Manny coming after May--may is in trouble unless he fights him off. I'm unsure May has the Pop to keep Manny honest. 6 years ago he did. Not now

Every online article and interview I have seen of JMM about the fight itself has him picking Mayweather to win, so I don't understand the Mayweather fan be ducking this thread bullshit.
May the best man win on May 2nd. Regardless of the outcome, life will go on.
Boxing Scenes servers however might be a different story.

So, is JMM trying to say that the outcome of the fight will be: May, 2nd on May 2nd? OK, just a silly play on words, couldn't resist posting it lolLast edited by sterilizer; 02-22-2015, 03:20 PM.

Last time I checked boxing is fighting. Boxing is just fighting a little smarter than brawling, and more serious than sparring. I guess it's more technical with a little more control. So yes, Floyd will be tagging and fighting all night long.

Mayweather has every advantage that you need to dominate this fight. On top of that he has the advantage of the comp he's faced his last 3 fights. Pacquiao was trying to resurrect his career after a devastating loss to Marquez. So he took a bunch of tune up fights against mediocre comp. His only real challenge was a fighter who wouldn't knock him out in Bradley anyway.
So what does that mean? He's not use to paying for his sloppiness and his mistakes. None of the fighters he's fought are smart technical boxers. The guys Mayweather faced weren't the smartest technical fighters. But look at the advantages Pacquiao has. If he has punching power advantage, Mayweather has fought his last 3 fights against guys with punching power. And I'd say Canelo has a lot more punching power as a 154 pounder than Pacquiao at 147. I won't say Maidana has more punching power than Pacquiao, but he fights in a similar way. He's very active and throws weird punches from weird angles.
But the worst for Pacquiao is he's a southpaw fighting against the best conventional counter puncher in the sport. Who is also excellent at landing lead right hands. I've watched Pacquiao and I couldn't say he fought smart in any of his fights. He's not an intelligent boxer. He's just a quick fighter, has strong legs which helps his power punches, and he throws a lot. He doesn't go to the body rarely ever, at least recently. He's out of position quite a bit and can easily be countered. He doesn't seem to have a good chin(pillow punching Bradley stunned him in the second fight). Im out of time but plain and simple, he's got a punchers chance. Which is very slim if you realize Mayweather has fought big punchers many of time. Neutralized.

Ha ha.... don't matter to me because Manny gets beat on May 2nd 8rds to 4 at most.
