  • GGG wouldn't finish prime Froch

Froch has power to keep GGG back and he wouldn't let Froch have free hits like GGG's done in the past and tonight. At best if this fight happened with current GGG against prime Froch, GGG gets a UD at best.

If Martin Murray (All due respect and I am a fan) with pillow fists and a "decent chin" can stay in there for 11 rounds then a power puncher with an ATG chin will defiantly go the whole 12.

Froch too old now so yeah prime Froch only in this discussion. I'll even add a poll so we can see who are the smart fans and who are being fanboys.

I voted GGG would spot Froch 8 pounds and knock him out. Froch comes to fight and he is easy to hit unlike Murray who fought defensively with lots of holding. Taylor hurt Froch pretty good and GGG is so much better and hits so much harder than Taylor. GGG could take him out with body punches or head punches or both.

That says it all. Froch gets hit way too easy, ****in groves put him down for gods sake.

Murray looks like, fights like, and covers just like Kessler, only that Kessler can actually punch like a motherf. Probably the same size as Murray too, 180-185lbs on FN. I would still love to see that fight. Kessler vs GGG. I would be really excited for that one.

I think Froch gave fans too much to talk about with his tongue in cheek comment about not wanting GGG. He won't fight GGG simply because he has nothing he wants. No SMW title, no big money, no excuse to come fight in Vegas, doesn't even campaign at 168. Froch has nothing to prove by beating GGG. This guy already took 0's (Pascal, Bute, Dirrell*), avenged defeats (Kessler), and upset the odds (Taylor, Bute), against tough, top guys who can punch (very hard), and are bigger than GGG.

Keep in mind, he took 11 rounds to finish a guy who can't punch. Say what you want about KO percentages being inaccurate, but a guy carrying a 68.5% KO ratio is a huge difference from a guy who has 37.5% KO. And Murray was tagging GGG at will, just can't punch. Try taking Froch's punches like that, guarantee GGG reacts a whole different way.

Be careful, the GGG ball gaggers don't like smart logic used against their hero

Before the fight started GGG said that he wanted this fight to last long and he actually wouldn't mind it going 12 rounds. Golovkin was basically toying with Murray after the 8th round, and this is a guy who had never been dropped or KO'd before, and golovkin had him coughing up lungs, and doing Bambi legs for half the fight. Murray lasted as long as he did,due to high levels of movement,an amazing chin, good defense, and balls of steel. And for all the haters that love to talk ****,Murray landed less than 30% of his shots and had a grand total of 131 connects, and that was with golovkin putting his hands down and letting Murray hit him. So much for golovkin being right there to be hit.

GGG is "right there to be hit" when opponent is already broken down and not dangerous anymore

Froch got put down because he didn't take Groves seriously and that combo that Froch got hit with would have finished pretty much any other fighter not named Froch.

How about you bring up the fact Froch got hurt and put down multiple times and still won the fight?

one thing to put it in prospect.

Glolovkin may have just as strong chin as Froch (of course, we don't know that yet, but so far it looks like he does).. a bit scary in combination with the other things.

As for the thread. Froch can survive and go to distance, but honestly I would be worried for Froch's health.
