When people say they don't understand how a fan can be so about a fighter like Pacquiao, Golovkin, Mayweather, Ward, etc., my honest question is "What do you expect?"
Fanboys, *****s, *******s, etc. add to boxing. They don't take away. They are showing their genuine excitement about their favorite fighter and who amongst us has never been a huge, biased fan of one fighter or another?
I personally was a huge Trinidad fan growing up as well as Morales and when they lost, I tried to think of every excuse in the world- even the TKO loss to Hopkins!
Yet, I am still here and still following boxing. The excitement over these fighters keeps people tuning in. Sports are like religion to a lot of people and they believe their fighter is the best thing ever whether they are or not. And what's wrong with that?
I salute you, *****s, *******s, GGGbots. Your passion is endearing.
