situations aren't very comparable since Golovkin is mentally & physically prepared far above what Tyson was in Japan. plus I'm not sure Douglass beat the count, certainly wouldn't have a Jack Reiss one or British Stoppage. -
Murray may very well go the distance, I always felt GGG looked to be running out of ideas against Stevens and Rosado as the latter rounds set in. My only concern would be Murray hasn't the power or speed to trouble the champ though. One thing Murray had in his favor is size I suppose, he's a big middleweight.
He'll be looking to win the fight but I suppose he doesn't even know himself how he can achieve it, i would be surprised if his team had any form of game plan we haven't seen to date against the KO king.Comment

38-1 man the fact that this is one of GGGs toughest test is kind of a joke he needs to step up the competition level ASAP.

Why are folks so opposed to Golovkin taking voluntary fights at super middleweight?
Cotto isn't going to fight him, Oscar won't opt for Canelo to fight him, and Golovkin-Quillin has so many hangups between the two camps that that fight doesn't make much sense (and honestly, I doubt that the N'Dam-Lemiuex winner bothers with Golovkin either).
Make the mandatory defenses of the middleweight belts, but when looking for voluntaries, instead of simply taking on 15:1 fights, why not step out on faith.Comment
