No rematch clause is a little strange I'll admit...

But I think it just speaks to how hard it was to get the first one done & personally if I were Manny I would probably prefer to wait & see how the first fight goes...I mean say Manny dominates or stops Floyd wouldnt it be more beneficial for him to negoitiate as the winner of the first fight as opposed to his current position...

The least you could have done is wait until the fight had reached the fourth or fifth round before you started with the excuses. Instead, you start with them hours after the fight is announced.

Because a rematch wouldn't erase a loss. Floyd's entire legacy is built on one premise (besides ducking Manny when he was at his best, of course): a "0" in the loss column. If Floyd loses, a rematch means absolutely nothing because he's no longer unbeaten.

That said, this fight isn't going to happen. By "fight", I'm referring to the one that should have happened when both guys were much better circa 2009. Like Tyson vs. Holyfield, the fast and explosive fighter has declined well below his best days, and certainly at a rate more rapid than his opponent. The fight happened well after it should have.

Floyd will pot shot early, then slow it down to 1-punch-at-a-time, and win a boring UD 8 rounds to 4.

There will be no controversy, and no rematch. I wouldn't be surprised if Floyd talked Manny into taking it easy and just enjoying the pay day (to protect them both).

Really? I thought Manny's signature is way more distinctive compare to May as you described as scribbles. May's signature is like a kindergarten will scribble on a piece of paper.

Funny thing about that guy if someone say something except Mayweather, they are lying. Pathetic fanboy.

Just my opinion about the rematch.

                    1) Sho and HBO probably doesn't want to go through those hideous back and forth negotiations again.
                    2) Depend on how much money this fight will generate will determine if their investments will give them both a **** load of profits thus merit to share broadcasting the rematch. If they think it's not worth to share the broadcasting then no rematch. (both fighters still be contracted to their respective network)
                    3) if the fight resulted on a draw, both Networks will have no choice but to share the broadcasting again. But it won't be easy. If the fight resulted of Manny win a close split decision, TR will play hard ball and probably wait until May's contract with Sho ended then have HBO gets to show the rematch. (that's if May want the rematch)
                    4) If May win by close UD or SD, there won't be any rematch period.
