So, it is expected for the Mayweather fans to predict the usual Gatti-style beatdown or an easywork 9-3, 8-4 UD. I'll get in now with my prediction of a decision win for Pacquiao. Mayweather fans will then understand why their idol tried his utmost to avoid this confrontation, but in the final analysis had no alternative but to agree.

I don't think Mayweather has the power to hurt Pacquiao. I do think Pacquiao will have the fastest and best footwork and handspeed of his list of opponents. I also believe that Pacquiao will outwork Mayweather. Although both have declined, I think Mayweather has declined the most.

Mayweather will not be interested in toe to toe exchanges. He will try his usual hit and move, but Pacquiao will counter that well.

Lineal doesn't mean much, Baldomir was lineal at welterweight, Cotto is lineal at middle, it's just a label.

Because Baldomir beat Judah who many believed at that time was too good for Mayweather. Just to be safe, Floyd fought and beat both.

Cotto beat Martinez who many regarded as a top P4P fighter and the man at Middle Weight.

You don't have to discredit everyone just because pac has never fought a lineal Champion at 147, let a lone 154.

He won't get his "arse kicked". He will look fresh and frusrtated. It will leave everyone wanting a rematch.

The rematch will be good business for boxing or at least the fighters pockets. Probably won't sell nowhere as much because people will claim that Floyd cherry picked Pac and is now ducking some middle weight or super middle weight.
