It was a fight of close rounds and a close fight up until the championship rounds where Manny was very disappointing and dropped them both. I had it 8-4.

I can't emphasis how far this was from a whooping or masterclass. People are going to be told about this fight in 20 years and be told 'what a masterclass Floyd put on' and they will start to watch the fight and wait for it...and wait for it...and wait for it...only to get to the final bell and think WTF did I miss it?...and watch it again only to realise it never happened.

Floyd landed more and got hit less, thus the win. But Pacquiao landed harder and cleaner and was the one who did damage, in the end I saw two guys on a fairly similar level where Floyd was that little better and more effective in his style.
I can agree somewhat with this, to me it was a very good technical fight but what made it a master performance is that Mayweather controlled the pace and had Pacquiao fighting his fight from round one. Pacquiao wasn't able to land more then a handful of those clean hard power shots cause Mayweather controlled the distance and when Pacquiao tried to open up Mayweather would counter or get out of range. I knew the moment Pacquiao threw about 30 punches in the first round that he was in for a long night, Mayweather had an answer for everything Pac brought.

I would rather focus on the fight and how it actually played out, I saw the fight how I saw it, and I will never let anyone convince me otherwise. I felt cheated by the commentating and I stand by my original interpretation having watched it a few times since. If you watch the fight with the commentary team that Andre Ward is on, that is by far the best and I wish everyone had watched it the first time with that commentary, it calls the fight accurately and in the moment.

I saw the fight very similarly to Stephen "Breadman" Edwards, which was good to see because I was pretty deflated after the fight with all the opinions flying around. I thought Pacquiao showed that Floyd couldn't dominate him in a technical fight, which is impressive in itself. Everyone expected the whirlwind Pacquiao but that was never going to win him the fight, he had the right tactics but he needed to hurt Floyd more significantly and score a knockdown to win it, kind of like the Degale-Dirrell fight. If you look at my preflight prediction I said Pacquiao can win the fight but he needed a knockdown in the first 6 rounds to win on the cards, he couldn't quite do it, and Floyd did what he had to do.

If you ask me my opinion anyway I think Floyd is the better fighter so justice was done in that sense. He has more in his locker, he can do that bit more and do it better. I am a tennis fan and you could compare Pacquiao to Nadal - power, speed, explosive, whereas Floyd is like Federer - technically perfect, finesse, accuracy.
Lol at "I was deflated until I finally saw someone who agrees with me". Pacquiao fans are so sad and pathetic. 10-2 or 9-3
        It was a sparring match.

Don't lie and say the 4th.

Rounds you say are close were still clear Floyd rounds. No one gave these to Manny as he didn't deserve them because he wasn't punching.

Wouldn't you have wanted him to earn a win with his skill and talents rather than you and others going this route? Are you so desperate that you want to claim a victory you know in your heart was a clear, resounding loss?
The only one of the 2 fighters that was hurt was FLoyd. Besides being the home guy, Floyd got the rounds because how the fight was fought. Not that Floyd did more or better. That 3rd round is a good example. Manny did more than Floyd but because it didn't look dominating like some other fights, Floyd got the round. Yet, when you analyze the round, no way that Floyd won that round. No way. That is what happened in the Bradley 1 fight too. They expect Manny to come at you non-stop instead of winning the rounds like he did. So they gave it the Vegas home guy.

Looks like a sneaky plan to numb his right shoulder so that he can keep punching regardless of pain and through fatigue had backfired big time.

Like that was their last and only hope at securing a certain victory.

            .
Is that what you said when Floyd requested to use a substance the day before the fight to rehydrate? You know, this is the same Floyd that can supposedly even make 140 yet couldn't make 147 comfortably? Not su****ious?

So how about when Floyd uses Xylocaine to numb his hands like just before the fight. Not su****ious? How come?

How about when Floyd uses the "rotator cuff was messed up" after the poor performance against Castillo? You Floyd fans were OK with using that line and not triple checking the facts. Floyd's words were enough.

You also still can't show proof that Pacquiao didn't use his right hand. Which pretty much gets rid of your "one arm" theory.

Keep posting the same 4 .gifs, though.

It's been a month Stay salty, my friend.
You Floyd fans keep saying this but when I brought up 1 of many, many threads where Floyd and his fans use the same "rotator cuff injury" as the reason for Floyd's poor performance, well were you saying "show me more proof Floyd. You are all talk but I need to see dem MRIs, pre-fight forms, doctor's interviews, real proof of Floyd getting a surgery"

...... heck, Floyd came back after 7 months and fought again. You still are not su****ious of Floyd's words.

What did Floyd and the judges have in common? Think. Not that hard even for you. Oh, 2 judges reside in Vegas and so does Floyd. Third judge is also American. Not just conspiracy, its a fact.

I posted way before the fight on what Floyd was going to be allowed to do in the ring. What was that you said? Floyd was allowed to hold on for dear life, push off, head lock, bend below the waist and so on. Imagine a competent ref would give Floyd hard warning? That fight would change on a dime and you know it.

The one armed Manny still managed to do well enough to make it a close fight.

Show us again those embarrassing 3rd round gifs of Floyd's offense. You stopped because you got embarrassed at the truth!!! Floyd had little to show for and you helped prove all that. The one armed Manny did more and you know it.

floyd isn't the bad guy to NSAC.

all his fights are in vegas and he has a contract with MGM grand.

to NSAC arum/pac might be the bad guy.

fighting with vegas casinos, taking pac fights to texas and macau.

                      OH SNAP!

                      Conspiracy theory.
