One thing I paid attention to when rewatching this was Floyds strategy on the ropes. I can't remember which former boxer mentioned this, but Floyd intentionally lets you get him on the ropes, unleash combinations which take a ton of energy, and when the other fighter backs up Floyd punches them in the stomach area so they can't catch their breath.

Just a small thing like this that most people don't pay attention to makes me appreciate how good he is. Nearly every professional and former boxer scored the fight for Floyd as well, I think they know a thing or two about boxing as compared with the Pacquiao fans here

Check out Youtube, there are a lot of videos of boxing trainers breaking down Floyd on film, guy does a ton of subtle things like this all throughout each round. Another thing he is a master of is throwing off his opponent's timing and rhythm, you'll see Manny or another fighter getting ready to start an attack and Floyd consistently will stop their rhythm all together with just a subtle jab or a feint, his timing is perfect and the opponent generally has to completely reset and start over. He rarely lets the other guy find his rhythm and comfort. It's genius.

Well that's the thing. The bulk of Manny fans who weren't boxing fans are gone now, while most of the boxing fans who are also fans of Manny are still here. They don't like that Manny lost (and really don't like seeing Floyd fans get to celebrate), but they're taking it like men.

Then you have the fringe lunatics where they can't come to terms with it because Manny beating Floyd is just so important to them. They're desperately trying to spam their deluded little alternate reality into fact, but it's just not working and they don't understand why. It's because that bulk of Manny fans who didn't care all that much for boxing are gone now, so there's hardly anyone left to parrot and spam their delusional opinions. I've never seen a fan base of a fighter take a loss so hard as Pacquiao fans are taking this one. A couple Pacquiao fans actually killed themselves after the fight leaving notes saying they could not handle the loss. Just sad really.
