watchin the replay for the first time since watching it live

jesus christ floyd had no answer to pacquiao's combinations other than to hang on for dear life

even his dad was like you fighting scared, knock this **** off

i'd still pick floyd in a rematch, but there were things I saw manny doing that could give him success if he actually stepped on the gas

man floyd clinched for dear life at times, against a guy who was way smaller than he was

One thing Floyd is doing that I totally didn't notice is that Floyd would keep his left hand out even when he missed his jab. Sometimes he would miss the jab and control Pac's head afterwards to avoid return fire. Another way to control distance.

You can see the embarrassment in Pacquiao's face, Mayweather was right about that, shouldn't have made all them commercials

Watched this fight a few times already and there's no way you can give the fight to Pac. He may have come forward, but you can't really give him much credit for aggression. Aggression needs to be effective, just to come forward alone isn't enough. He didn't throw enough, nor land anything consistently significant to win more than 3 rounds. He looked like he didn't know what to do or how to close the distance, just lost in there.

And I'm not buying the shoulder excuse. He threw both hands with mean intentions and didn't show ANY signs of it bothering him. If it were the reason for his performance, I think he would have favored it more throughout the fight or even mentioned it when he was in the corner. He nor his team made no mention of it before or during the fight only after at the press conference. Bogus excuse. Floyd dominated him, 9 rounds to 3. 48-0!

Being a fan of neither, I honestly can't wait for boxing to go back to boxing and the fan base not be split between Mayweather or Pacquiao. sure, both fighters brought popularity to the sport, but they've also created this idea that boxing doesn't go deeper than either of them.
