Floyd is the best. What a great fight.

Glad we're past it. If Floyd is true to his word then I expect a farewell fight next from both fighters.

Everyone likes to act like Floyd can't punch. And yet every fight, that straight right puts his opponent in their place. They think twice before punching.

A KO like that must be crazy hard to get over mentally.

However that didnt stop him from making easy work of everyone else he fought since.

Quite possibly, but Floyd did land several flush right hands that Manny handled well. I think it was his overall defense and slick boxing skills that allowed him dominate the majority of the fight, and thankfully the decision lacked controversy.

I was telling a buddy of mine that if Manny throws 600-700 punches in the fight and lands 25% or so it would be competitive. Obviously that didn't happen.

I don't see why this would be much different 5-7 years ago, either. Manny probably got hit less tonight than he would have back then. Even though he took the punches that he was hit with this evening, being cracked constantly might have worn him down and enabled Mayweather to get a TKO or something, perhaps even a cut stoppage.

I'm still trying to figure out what Manny's strategy was supposed to be. Aside from the 4th round, he wasn't really able to do much of anything, and he seemed confused tbh.
