And, I'm not so sure that the fight taking longer to make is as much of a favor to Floyd as you make it out to be. He's slowed considerably.

You could argue that Manny has a better chance now, than then.

What does Floyd having more reach/height have to do with anything we're talking about?

That'll just be another "well, Floyd was too big to start with" excuse.
umm, because it will take athleticism to get in on the longer, taller individual?

and he hasn't aged more because of punishment, he's ages more because of his style

and fighting a bigger man who likes to fight at a distance and his legs aren't what they used to be, or his output isn't what it used to be, it doesn't work to his advantage

even if he was a potshotter, again, mayweather is longer, taller and the bigger fighter, an older, lazier pacquiao diminishes his chances considerably

honestly, my confidence would be about 80% higher than it is now if it were the PAC that fought Cotto stepping up on May 2nd

That's funny, because I could swear that people are blaming Pacquiao's style, for allowing him to take punishment (KTFO6).

His legs and output aren't what they used to be. Neither are Floyd's. So who does that favor? You're only wanting to look at it from a "Manny's past prime" perspective.

The fact is, neither one of them are prime fighters. They're both still really good, and really dangerous.

And there's only one fanbase loading this forum down with ready made excuses for their guy.

Against this version of Mayweather? Definitely.

When I watch Pacquiao, I still see him busting guys up. Sure he's getting slower and getting caught more, but he's still beating dudes down.

Floyd has reeeaaaallllly slowed down. He missed Maidana with shots he'd normally never miss with. He also allowed himself to get caught with shots he wouldn't have a few years ago.

I seriously think that Pacquiao has a shot.

I swear, if I hadn't already booked the flight/hotel, I'd probably just skip out on going out to Vegas for this fight. By the time I buy tickets for CC and drinks I'm gonna be out $500 just to watch a boxing match, lol.

Though I still haven't ruled out the possibility of going off Strip to watch it.

also maybe he's running/working too hard and his body needs some rest.

you don't want a beat up/worn out fighter.

I thought Floyd looked like guy going thru the motions in the rematch from the promo, ring walk and performance. He looked liked I can't wait for this to be over. For this fight both will be high motivated.
