That's like saying Broner has evolved. All he's done is eat fast food after getting blazed while recording.

I'm a Floyd fan, but I'm willing to call BS on other Floyd fans on a few arguments, not any specific individuals, but just general trains of though. Manny's power is "overrated" because he actually doesn't have that many KO's at the higher weights, but at the same time he carried his power up? Now don't get me wrong, Manny fans on here also over exaggerate his power.

I think the truth is somewhere in between. Manny has good power, but at the higher weights generally is not gonna knock you out.

I think some Floyd fans are afraid to admit that he is just a great athlete.

For me Pac fans won't admit he caught some of these people at the right time.

It is what it is, but Oscar drained himself, Hatton was coming off a career defining loss, and Cotto from what I understand basically trained himself for that fight. He did what he had to do and took them all out, but in hindsight that stretch of performances made the rest of his WW performances look pretty lukewarm. People were too quick to jump the gun even though the circumstances surrounding some of those fights was cloudy IMO and Pacquiao asking for the days he'd be tested was su****ious IMO. It wasn't enough to throw their arms up about when enough people started scratching their heads at his performances.

Pay attention kid. I answered your question prior to that. That just supports my point on how they were able to fight in higher divisions.

Since you are so in AWE how Pac was able to keep up his physical assets at higher weights. I supported my point but also noted fighters who also moved up in weights.

          you can't debate with me.

They are special talents,...these fools who try to discredit elite talents who are able to do so..don't know $#iT.
Floyd and Manny moved up. Duran and now Broner ATE their way up the scale because they would eat nothing but fried crap and drink beer when they are not training (and likely when they are training) for a fight.

Duran gets all credit for his style and winning those fights at JMW and MW. Just don't make it like he went up for any reason other than his terrible habits outside of camp.

The real "freaks" of nature are Bhop and Hagler-men who stay at the same weight for almost all of their careers.

              Debate with you?

Duran went up in weight and we saw him lose hand speed, foot speed, output, stamina, power and his body looked soft at 154. Yes he evolved with the physical losses, which is what we naturally see from other greats moving up. Though he kept winning, those losses were there regardless.

He is just about the poorest example you could have come up with.

Speaking only for myself, I never said Pac's power was overrated even at 147. Pac still has scary power to me. p4p the hardest puncher today.

Keep in mind, my argument isnt solely about power. Its about how he kept EVERYTHING going through the weights.

Bhop is definitely a freak. 50 year old man who goes 12 rounds with Kovalev and not get knocked out.

People forget he was a huge underdog in the Davey Moore fight. Imagine that, Moore had what -14 fights- Duran was a 1st ballot HOF and an underdog to someone with so little pro experience.

He was with Ariza through a lot of this. Funny enough Floyd is giving a ton of credit to Ariza and after he fought Maidana for that first time finally went up against a fighter conditioned by him. Gets his toughest fight in years and now he's on his team. I really do believe he did a remarks job with helping Manny build functional muscle and still retain explosiveness. I'm guessing there's a reason why he keeps getting employed.
