In less than a month, Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao will fight each other in what’s probably the biggest boxing match of this generation. Literally years in the making, the lead-up and hype has been insane, with things like what Floyd ate for breakfast making the blog rounds. Included in the social media and video access have been more looks into Floyd’s amazing stable of vehicles.

In this video, Floyd is riding around in his 1996 Mercedes-Benz S600, which he makes sure to point out has a massive V12. The rear-wheel-drive W140 was produced from 1991 to 1998 and was available with a variety of engine options, from the inline-6 to a diesel to a V8 to the range-topping V12. Originally, the 6.0-liter M120 packed 402 horses, but it was later detuned to 394 to meet European regulations.

Floyd mentioned that this particular car and particular year was special to him because he started back in 1996. He points out that the car, during the day this was filmed, just ticked past 30,000 miles. The best part, though, is that he uses an actual cassette tape during the video. He doesn’t have some sort of high-tech system swapped in.

“If you got an old-school car, and you got an old-school tape deck, it’s only right that you got tapes,” he said.

You also get a peek at his stretch Rolls-Royce Phantom limo about a minute into the video. May 2 is the day. If you want to watch on PPV, it’ll set you back $90 (more for high def, which seems ironic because he rolls with cassettes)

plus there's nothing wrong with the ole' mercedez (I actually adore the older ones more!) and nothing wrong with the cassette player...I actually think it is way cooler than the digital...ANALOG SOUND is a truer sound than DIGITAL anyway.
