and in the end he's a counter-puncher and he went out as a counter-puncher, not chasing and cutting off the ring against someone
Compromise, take more chances, get into exchanges he normally wouldn't have had to, solely because he wasn't gonna get the decision. Comprehend that por favor.

I thought Marquez clearly beat him in II and III, I'm not trying to have that discussion right now though, I've had it plenty.

To add, compromise and change have two different meanings, so this whole "Marquez went out as a counter puncher" is responding to what exactly?

him and his team came up with a strategy, knock pacquiao out, fighters have gameplans and their style will change slightly in accordance, big whoop

pacquiao's strategy was even more drastic, it wasn't simply commit more to your punches, it was a overhaul of half of his style, and that's ultimately why he made more mistakes

All we can do is agree to disagree because the only distinctive difference I saw in Pacquiao was more head movement, as well as more feinting with his recklessness being fueled by the fact that Marquez was slower, more vulnerable but at the same time more willing to exchange. That's about all I gathered.

Initially, the point I've been trying to make is that Marquez was no monster, not the mythical beast people were making him out to be, his preparation diminished him far more than it benefited. The fact that he was smart enough to know what Pacquiao bites into, as far as feinting goes, is all due to having fought him 3 times prior. That made the gamble more worthwhile but at the same time still downright ******, I'm glad it worked out for him.
