There's Floyd fans on twitter also saying Floyd will walk PAC down as he is the bigger and stronger guy
There's a lot of Floyd fans thinking this
And I go by the saying that the majority opinion is usually the correct one
At the moment I don't see that happening until Floyd is down on the cards and him and his corner sense the urgency to win rounds - this will happen in second half of fight
But if so many people think he will start this early on ...
I guess the reasoning would be that he may look to slow PAC down with body shots. I remember Bradley landing body shots in their fights . And Tmt did an interview saying he's looking for body shots.Comment

@ you thinking Mayweather goes retreat mode after falling in
That was also an ugly illustration because Mayweather doesn't jab from that close against southpaws, and he leads with the right hand when he looks to lean in. When he leans in he looks to stay in there in an attempt to mount another attack.
the gif is a good one because we've all seen that mayweather right that he follows up with a duck, another attack, or a clinch, either one he'll find difficult to do if doesn't set up the shot properly and comes up short
****in guerrero who doesn't move his feet at all countered that sht plentyComment

Bradley landed some big shots in the second fight because he would commit to the punches, taking a level of risk Floyd may not take until he's more comfortable . Bradley would shooting bombs right off the bat in their second fightComment

Guerrero did tag Mayweather as he would try to lead, not oblivious to that, plenty is an overstatement though. Mayweather's game plan was more emphasized on running Guerrero into right hands, keeping his distance, Mayweather found that easy enough that he never needed to change his approach. Had his game been more geared towards working Guerrero up close, getting tagged on the way in would have been more and more minimized.Comment

Except Mayweather is more unpredictable, closes the gap quicker and doesn't shoot jabs from that close. Mayweather leads with the right hand and he'll put his left shoulder in his opponents face, either to follow up, smother or tie up.

he better land the right hand when he falls in otherwise he'll be a sitting duck for pacquiao to jump on as he recovers his balance, pacquiao isn't gonna be there to follow up on, and he wont give his back to floyd as he like mayweather likes to move to his power hand
im not saying he's gonna fight like this, im not saying he's not gonna land right hands, but 117-111 brought it up and im telling him it's not something worth putting into a strategy, he has a big reach advantage along with speed and that shoulder roll which is only gets better the taller you are than your opponent, it woud be nice if he could smother pacquiao, but it's not happening, only in the short instances that guys like rios etc got it, when pacquiao is taking a breather and you can get some free shots, but he'll have to make him workLast edited by SplitSecond; 04-02-2015, 06:32 PM.Comment

Seeing how Floyd is training, he's focusing on a lot of power building.
Now that I put it together. I wouldn't be surprised if Floyd does walk Pacquiao down.
Thing is, it's hard to walk a guy who will flail his arms when in trouble. (ref: Any Marquez fight.)Comment
