This is a very good analysis. I don't agree with the red, though. Floyd is 38yrs old. Unless he is on something, he will lose on points.

It's a tough task, but Floyd has the intangibles to get it done even at 38. He knows that he can't be too relax and get lazy in there against a fighter like, Manny. I expect Manny to fight Floyd like he did against Marquez in their fourth fight. I expect Manny to start out aggressively, constantly bobing and weaving his upper body, moving his head, etc. Floyd needs to slow down the pace by digging to the body with the straight right hand, but he'll need be cautious and defensively responsible because Manny will try to hook him on the way in with his right hook if Floyd chooses to lead in with the right hand. Floyd must be defensively responsible from the get-go for that counter right hook of Manny's. Why risk the chance of leaving yourself open when you don't have to?

This is where Floyd must use his left hand to use the "touch and shoot" technique before he throws the straight right to the body. It still a risky move when he just throw the lead right hand upstairs because he can still get caught with a right hook counter, but I think he can get away with it when he throws it upstairs, but I am not confident nor think it's wise of him to lead with the right hand to the body without disguising it behind the left hand.

He must parry/touch Manny's right hand or occupy Manny's frontal vision with his left hand before he shoots the straight right downstairs. Again at 38, Floyd must rely on his effective techniques more so than his natural physical attributes. Manny is fast/quick, so Floyd needs to be on his A game from the get-go.
