YES they are playing around I believe I clearly said this the pertinent point I'm trying to make is Manny's dropping off his right when throwing his power left many times charging in headfirst. Is this something that's debatable? Manny's foot and handspeed will overwhelm most boxers. They are usually getting hit or covering up for the onslaught leaving themselves unable to capitalize. I tried starting a thread a few weeks back on this but the Gestapo mods banned me for a week.

Mayweather wont dell go into the shoulder roll against manny pacquaio and this is why.



Mayweather knows he gonna have to fight and try to run Pacquaio into shots instead of just trying to avoid and pot shot.

The high guard will allow Floyd's left to reach its target quicker because it is a straight punch that is closer to the target. Some fighters like throwing the left from near the waist for deception purposes- it is not in the opponents immediate eyeline.

For Floyd, vs orthodox fighters, the shoulderroll guard Is the more effective defensive posture.
