Official Floyd Mayweather- Manny Pacquiao Postfight aftermath discussion

I think most of us have accepted it's going to be boring. I envisage an entertainment level similar to Pacquiao-Bradley I, except worse, and nobody wanted to see a rematch of that one. I do expect it to be intriguing for hardcore fans though.
You always criticise the Bradley comparisons but if he's really on a "different stratosphere", what is he doing struggling with Marcos Maidana? This isn't a prime Mayweather we're talking about, he really didn't look that much better than Bradley level in his last two fights. Like Pacquiao he has lost some of the vigour of youth and it shows up in the ring.
I don't think there's anything really that objectionable about saying FMJ is closer to Bradley's level than Algieri's, particularly at this point in his career.Last edited by Weebler I; 03-14-2015, 04:46 AM.Comment

Roach think Pac will KO Mayweather. I reckon its a good sign that his pretty confident of beating Floyd. Pac must be following that game plan to perfection if Roach is saying stuff like this now.
Yes Roach has been saying this frequently to Manny's previous opponents but its still a good sign that Manny is preparing well in training camp. Must be some hidden secrets Roach have seen from Pac that's making him now predict stuff like this.Comment

This is true. For me, this is the biggest fight I have experienced in my life since Hagler v Leonard. The build up for that was insane, even here in England.Louis-Schmeling 2 will always be the biggest fight in the history of the sport. I just saw an interview of Arum saying Ali-Frazier 1 was as big as it gets but when the President of the US personally asks you to win for your country.........doesn't get any bigger than that.Comment

The same old arguments over and over again. And who has KOed those guys Pac faced recently? "crickets*I see you didn't disagree
A kick boxer with 8 kos out of 20 fights
Bradley has 30+ fights with 12 kos....Floyd has more title fights than he has kos smh
Rios wasnt a 1 punch ko guy @ 135....accumulation type...may weather koed a prime hatton....Rios a shopworn Alvarado n neither are world ranked ww
Humor me....PAC can't ko an elite boxer's punching bag in Rios, 2 feather fisted guys....one decent n one very good in algieri n d storm...but he Facing one of the best fighters ever and he knocking him out....yea rightComment

Not really. Roach says that every fight.
He famously said that even God couldnt help JMM before the 3rd or 4th fight.
Im sure that camp has been going great. Just dont take Roach's predictions too seriously.Comment

Alex Ariza is consider the best strength and conditioning coach in the world.
But he needed the advice of a chemist so he can help Floyd train for Pacquiao.
C'mon on people we know what is going on here.
We know why Floyd flat out refused VADA testing as well.Comment

Im responding to your comment about Pacman not KOing anybody. Nobody has KOed these opponents Pac faced, so it may not be because his punches no longer carry power. I never critiqued Floyd and his chin. Sure Pacman may not be KOing Floyd, and the chances of Floyd KOing Manny is even less.
I know you got NOTHING when you reply to my question with a reverse question.
