I know/have known people who play for a living. It's nothing like when me and you play. They aren't shocked by anything that happens at the table, they've seen it all, they rarely make any moves "on a feeling' everything they do is very methodical. It's a grind, a job like an other. It's a "cool" thing to say "I'm a professional poker player" but they aren't really having fun with it. Most of those guys are actually degenerate gamblers, sports, ponies, blackjack and give back most of their winnings there because they need to feel the rush of ******** the same way (I'm assuming) they used to with poker.

Agree with everything but the bold. Some of those beats still feel like a punch in the gut to most of these "professional" poker players. I mean you've got the very top guys that make 90% of their money off of sponsorship and don't really have anything at risk. But for those guys that are truly trying to grind out a living playing 5/10 NL, losing a thousand dollar pot is like a kick in the ****.

The videos are absolutely hilarious. The one where the guy is fighting back tears the entire time he's trying to make the case Manny won . They spend all this time establishing why Floyd punching Manny in the face doesn't count and then just throw it all out for Manny.
