This is an interview from Max Kellerman from 2000:

JV: What would you like to see happen in the fight game this year?

MK: I want to see Vernon Forrest get a title shot or at least get a shot at the big money. I want to see Zab Judah fulfill his potential, which is to be one of the best fighters in boxing once Jones starts to slow down. I'd like to see Ibeabuchi get his head on straight. I think the best fight out there right now is Ibeabuchi vs. Oleg Maskaev.

What type of fighters have caused Floyd the most problems?

      - southpaw (Corley, Judah)
      - fast (Judah)
      - awkward (maidana)
      - active (maidana, Castillo)
      - variety of punching ( Castillo)

Manny has all of the above

Yeah before the Zoo fight IN 2001 sure. After that, his name was pretty much mud.

Then after some fairly weak victories he proceeded to lose to Spinks.

I want Manny to win. I think Floyd will adjust though and Manny will become predictable.
JMM seemed to figure him out fairly early on, Floyd probably will too.

Love a Manny ko but I see a Floyd 116-112 type of decision.

Mud is exaggerating. After he beat Spinks he was ranked top 10 pound for pound. HBO was about to build up a big fight between him and Mayweather but he had another Zab moment vs. Baldo. He got so many chances because of the potential that he never reached. They didn't REALLY give up on him until after the Cotto fight.

                  - combos (maidana)
                  - body punching (Castillo)

Manny doesn't have a Oscar jab but hardly anyone does

I like Cotto's jab. Can we give it to Manny for this fight.
I think Cotto is naturally left handed though, right?
